Section 7 - Focus for Action

In this section we will put some of the ideas you have been recording in Chart 1 into action.

We will look at the list and decide which ideas are short-term ideas that can be actioned in a short period of time.

From our list of short timescale actions we will decide which ones support one or more of the company’s key business issues listed on the chart at the start of the program.

We will then put together a short list of at least four ideas that can be actioned quickly in support of the organization’s key business issues.

You will meet with your manager to get this short list approved and then implement appropriate actions with appropriate people and measure the improvements that you deliver into the organization’s key business issues.
